During my solo trip to explore the nearby Suwanee Canal Recreation Area, I found the location quite convenient. The electric plugs worked well in my king room, allowing me to charge my devices without any hassle. However, I noticed that the overall condition of the hotel seemed neglected, which impacted my visit a bit. The burnt smell in the lobby and the mismatched linens gave a less than appealing vibe to the stay. Overall, it had its moments, but improvements are definitely needed.

The room carried a strong musty odor, indicative of outdated furnishings and possible mold issues. Multiple guests reported finding roaches, leading to a need for purchased pest control. The pool lay empty, and an ice machine failure added to the list of inconveniences. Stains on sheets and towels truly set an uncomfortable scene. a well-worn bedspread featured a hole, showcasing neglect. The shower’s water ran brown initially, which should never happen.

Decent for a night stay!
We stayed one night in a double room. The big screen TV was a nice touch, and the fridge was handy for our drinks. Super quiet which was great for sleep! The only bummer was that the furniture was pretty outdated, but it worked for us. No breakfast offered, just a heads up!

The most noticeable aspect upon arrival was the hotel's burned exterior, raising immediate concerns about safety. The empty pool added to the disappointment, feeling like it was neglected. The bedspread showed signs of significant wear, complete with a silver dollar-sized hole. Stains on sheets and pillowcases made my stay uncomfortable. I didn't appreciate the non-functioning ice machine, which further added to the list of amenities that fell short. Regarding my room, I specifically ordered a king room, but it turned out to have two smaller beds, which was frustrating. The carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, and the furniture was quite worn, some pieces practically falling apart. Although the electric plugs worked fine, the overall atmosphere felt grim due to the burnt smell lingering around. The bathroom had issues too, with a rocking toilet, an unpleasant shower curtain, and a nasty smell, making it hard to relax. If I had known about these conditions, I would have chosen a different place. My only positive takeaway was that the electric outlets were functional, allowing me to charge my devices. This hotel should reconsider its operation status, as a stay here could put guests at health risks.

The beds were comfy, making for great nights after full days. Plus, the fridge in the room was super handy for drinks. Overall, a decent spot for our group getaway.
One frustrating experience was when we found that the ice machine was out of order, which was a letdown during our stay.

The room I had was decent for a quick stay. The big screen TV and fridge were super handy. It was really quiet at night which helped me sleep well. Furniture could use some updating since it was a bit outdated, but it didn't ruin my time. I also appreciated the clean bathroom, which was a plus!
